Country Roads Open House & The Royal Winter Fair 2025
This year’s Country Roads Tour snuck up quick. You could not have asked for better weather. Two beautiful sunny October days that felt like full on summer. We are so grateful to those who came out and said ‘Hi’ and supported our small business. Every year we see some of our returning customers, and get the opportunity to meet new people, sharing our stories and products with them.
This year we’re taking a big leap and coming down to Toronto for the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. We’ll be set up in the Northern Ontario Pavilion for the first 5 days of the fair (November 7-11) with a whole host of amazing vendors from Northern Ontario. Thanks to FedNor for the grant to send us down that way! We’ll have all our delicious syrup products on offer down there (with samples to try of course), so if you’re in the big city that weekend come on over and see us and get all the syrup you need!
Depending on how it all goes we might make the Royal a permanent fixture in our distribution network. Here’s hoping it’s a good time in any case.
Otherwise we’re starting to see lots of rain up this way. It’s still been warmer than normal – going to get the garlic in soon. The garden plans are coming along but are not going to be implemented this year. Lots to think about and plan for with the new house being built still – it is also coming along. Still hoping to get it closed up before the snow flies.
